The patterns created by waves and weathering have always fascinated me. Through many years of walking along the shores of island landscapes, clambering over rocks and quiet, cove beaches, I have been drawn to stop and look closely at ripples in the sand as the tide withdraws and how this is echoed above in shapes within cloud formations. These patterns speak of the passage of time, a softening of edges and rounded forms.
